Students get a 4-hour specialty class on the water, conducted by a US Coast Guard Certified Skipper.

Available courses are:

• Docking and Maneuvering

• Man overboard (MOB) rescue

All keelboat instruction is taught on the Haverstraw Bay. The boat is based in Haverstraw Marina, North Basin. The course runs 10am to 3pm.

The Keelboat classes are usually run on demand with up to 3 students.
