This class teaches plotting and navigation in a classroom setting to students who have a basic chart understanding. Learn how to plot your course on a Navigation chart.

The class consists of two 2-hour evening classroom sessions. The NauticEd Coastal Navigation online course is strongly recommended as a complement to this class.

The class teaches Latitude/Longitude and Compass Rose. Using NauticEd and USCG Nav questions, plot courses, label Lines of Position, Estimated Position, Running Fix, Set and Drift.
